Spring

Everything around me right now is vibrant green or beyond imagination, pinks, purples and reds. The colors and rebirth of nature is comforting. Only a few weeks ago, where I live in Georgia, was brown, dull and brittle looking.

Nature is loving, the way it lavishes us with these colors. Butterflies and insects dance around greeting all of the plants with a visit.

I am so glad it's spring.  It's been a long time.

Isabelle Debrosse Hardesty exhibits art at Marietta Square’s First Friday Art Walk

Isabelle Debrosse Hardesty will be the featured artist during the First Friday Art Walk, May 7th at The Vineyard Café & Gift Shop, located at 21 W. Park Square, N.E. from

6-9 pm. Come see her original art, art prints and hand dyed silk scarves. She is donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of her artwork directly to the Red Cross for their Earthquake Relief in Haiti. The Historic Marietta Trolley will run a free shuttle service from 6-8 p.m. for visitors to enjoy the other Art Walk stops. The event is free and open to the public.

Isabelle Debrosse Hardesty received her BFA from Pratt Institute. She has exhibited her artwork in Paris, New York, Miami, Delray Beach, Tallahassee and Marietta. Her artwork is inspired by many things including her Haitian heritage and nature. She has an upcoming group art exhibition at The Art Place June 10-July 2.

She is honored to be able to help Haiti with her art. Isabelle and her husband, William Hardesty, who is also an artist, have been working hard to help Haiti. “We both knew we had to do something to help Haiti. The best way for me to help is with my art,” said Isabelle. For more information, visit http://www.debrossehardesty.etsy.com/.
