May you feel freedom in all you do today. Freedom in love. Freedom in your creativity. Freedom in your self expression. We are the ones who make ourselves feel less free. So, inturn, we are the ones, the only ones, who open up ourselves to Freedom.

Photos From May 15th Volunteer Day at Clarkdale
Here are some photographs from May 15th when we painted three murals with the help of AMAZING volunteers. Debrosse Hardesty Gallery hopes that the three murals add beauty and warmth to Clarkdale Elementary students' new home for now. Bill helped so much and I was so happy to see my sister Rachel there and my Mother show up and help for over an hour!
It's a beautiful thing to actually see minute by minute how working together can make a difference. In the beginning of the day it was daunting to see the outlines on the wall waiting to be painted. But then the volunteers trickled in then flooded in. It was a wonderful day.

Debrosse Hardesty Gallery Helps Local School
We are so excited about May 15th! Bill Hardesty and I, Isabelle Debrosse Hardesty, will be helping with the beautification of a local school recently hit with disaster.
On September 21,2009, Clarkdale Elementary was flooded up to the roof. The school was no longer fit for students or staff. Books, computers, supplies and more were completely ruined. Fortunately all students and staff made it out safely that afternoon. History making rainfall swelled nearby Sweetwater Creek and waters inched up steadily all morning and crested to about 9 feet by evening.
The students had to be divided between two different local schools. The K-2 students are at Compton Elementary and on May 15th we are excited to volunteer our time to create three murals on the schools walls. It has been quite an adjustment for students and staff. We are glad we are able to help. Everybody can make a difference.
